В местных фб группах (не нищих) народ пишет, что типа "случайно" не просканировали какой-то товар, и что-то там запищало. Люди понимают, что "случайно" не случайно и дают советы, что можно мимо сканера пронести, а что нельзя.

А так купил 10 огурцов, пробил на кассе 9, вот уже 10% оффсет к инфляции.

Камера стоит прямо над кассой. Трекинг объектов, распознавание количества и соответствие вида овощей/фруктов.
Менее инвазивно чем суперчуткие весы что на каждый чих скандалят.

Когда еще мой деть был в коляске, я тележку магазиновскую зачастую не брала и использовала нижний отдел коляски как корзину. Один раз уже дома обнаружила, что в недрах завалялся авокадо непробитый. Как-то было стремно, и в магазин возвращаться тоже.

овощи которые продаются штуками я пропускаю мимо весов, поэтому при желании могу указать -1 огурец или авокадо. В случае авокадо в пакете врядли камера что-то распознает.

Обслуживал я компы всю жизнь. Ракетно-космической индустрии стеди заказчиков почему-то никогда не попадалось (нет, вру, один раз гордо починил комп каким-то "грамотеям" в хедквотере фирмы Сикорского - они вертолёты тогда делали). А вот всяких "поближе к замле" и ситиджоб-оффисов за плечами - полно (думаю, половина всех заказов была, т.е. тысяч пять компов и принтеров за все время трудового стажа). В хаузинге (субсидириваное жильё городское) когда я просил код на двери чтобы подойти к компу - ответ обычно был: "как, ты ещё не все коды к нашим дверям знаешь?!"

Ну так вот. В США - полно бесплатной еды . "Меалз он вилз", "Тейбл ту тейбл", немерянное количество фудбанков, коммьюнити китченз... а если добавите всяческие донейшены (раздачу жратвы малоимущим) - то ситуация буквально типа: "сьешь сколько можешь, а остальное - оставь". Но да, в меню там преобладает самое дешёвое как правило (бывают исключения): рис как гарнир, и курица приготовленная по миллиону разных рецептов. Потому, что поварихи - чёрные (билзкий друг, чёрный - мне неспроста говорил: "женись на нашей - будешь есть отличную курицу три раза в день!").

Меалз он вилз в Канаде развозит еду пенсионерам и инвалидам, но вовсе не бесплатно. Сами развочики, возможно, волонтёры, но за саму еду берут таки деньги
