Запомни, дружище, ничего не делается просто так, задаром. Подарок был оплачен налогоплательщиками напрямую через USAID и через списание налогов. А сам сервис оплачивался Пентагоном и через пожертвования, а не предоставлялся забесплатно лично Маском. То, что было "подарено" стоило гораздо меньше, чем могла бы стоить рекламная компания для компании по всему миру.


Только потом оказалось что доступ к сервису контролируется лично Маском и может быть легко отключен по первой просьбе из Кремля.
