It is widely believed that learning a new musical instrument or a foreign language after the age of 50–60 can help combat cognitive decline and potentially reduce the risk of serious conditions like dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.

I was initially considering Spanish, but after spending a few days in Rome, I fell in love with Italian. What a beautiful language!

Я начал украинский учить. В школе не учил, дома никогда не разговаривал.
Сложно то, что никогда не знаешь какое слово употреблять. Многие слова как русские, другие похожие, а остальные непохожи совсем.

Я изучаю иностранные языки с помощью Дуолинго уже 3 года. Самая сложная часть в изучении это конечно дисциплина и время, которого никогда нет. Дуолинго помогает напоминалками и сделан в виде игры. Я рекомендую.

Я с этом согласен. Не обязательно даже ждать 50 лет чтобы в этом удостовериться. В моем случае я сразу после первых двух месяцев изучения иностранного с помощью Дуолинго заметил, что память стала лучше.

Учу испанский на Дуолинго. Смешные слова запоминаются лучше, чем остальные. Стал немного понимать на слух. В общении с клиниг-леди обнаружил, что мой испанский лучше ее английского

Я два года работал в испанской компании и отменно ругаюсь по-испански. В Латинской Америке все в восторге, просят их научить, у них такое -- редкость
